Christmas Traditions

We had so much fun in December! I can't believe all of the fun holiday traditions that we do as a family every year! Here are some of the traditions we have started with our family.

Making yummy treats and dropping them off at friends houses. Each year we make treats and drop them by family and friends houses. We made rocky road marshmallows, millionaire bars, fudge, peppermint bars, and sugar cookies. So much work but so worth it.

Eating at Red Lobster! The girls love getting together and eating at Red Lobster! This year was especially fun. They loved seating and eating next to cousin Kate and Uncle Adam. My favorite part of the night was sampling everyone's food. Coconut shrimp is by far my favorite!

Making a gingerbread house. The girls loved eating the candy and licking the frosting. YUM!

Every year I take the girls to Bass Pro Shop to get a picture with Santa! We practiced what we wanted to ask Santa for Christmas. Bailey asked for a purple computer and Hayden wanted Rapunzel. We were lucky because cousin Kate and Aunt Carianne came with us. We had so much fun riding the carousel and looking at all the fun this at the shop.

These year we did a joy school with Bailey and a few friends from our ward. This is our last meeting together before Christmas. Bailey loved going to preschool and had so much fun. She loves her friends Berkley, Andy, and Lucy. We had a fun Christmas party.

Going to see the Mesa Temple Lights. We love going to the temple lights and seeing the beauty of the temple and the manger scene.

Elf on the Shelf. The girls absolutely loved this new tradition. We brought our own little elf into our home and the girls named him Taylor. They loved talking to him and telling him what they wanted for Christmas

White Elephant with the Adams family.
Every year we do a white elephant gift exchange with the Adams Family! This year was especially special because Grandma and Grandpa Adams gave a special presentation about Christ and the importance of partaking of the tree of life in our home and families. This was a night I won't forget. Aside from the wonderful food and company I won the cutest family craft board for our home:)

Playing in the SNOW! We went sliding and tubing in Heber! The girls LOVED it!

Spending time with family.
This year we went to Grandma & Grandpa Crandell's house for Christmas. The Girls had so much fun being with cousins and playing in the snow. Being up north and being with my family made miss my family so much! We have all grown up and I forgot how much I love being with my family! I especially love all of the sister in laws that my brothers married:) I love my family so much and it was so fun to spend Christmas with them. We had family skits and presentations, games, and lots and lots of yummy food.

Presents Christmas Day!
The girls had a wonderful Christmas. Bailey did not end up getting her purple computer because the elves ran out of purple paint, but she did get a pink princess one. Hayden got dress up and shoes, Tatum got a cute outfit from Aunt Carianne. This is a Christmas we will never forget.
