Last week I got a phone call early in the morning from my mom telling me my sister Becky was in the hospital from a very scary miscarriage. She lost so much blood she passed out and needed two blood transfusions. My heart ached to see Becky so I woke Brennon up and told him I needed to go to Thatcher right away. Brennon was so sweet and said he thought that was a good idea. So without much thought I dressed the girls and headed to Thatcher. I honestly didn't even know where I was going. If you know me, you know I get lost whenever I go driving. So I prayed I would make it there safely and I did. As soon I got there I was happy to see my sweet sister and her husband Steven. Becky was so strong through everything. When I saw her I never thought a person could be so white. Steven made sure she got plenty of rest while I made dinner and tried to keep my little girls from totally destroying their house. I was amazed by all of the people that came by to drop off meals, bread, cookies, and flowers. I was even more impressed with the Welker Family. My brother Samuel was lucky enough to marry sweet Lacie Welker, and all of her family stopped by to wish Becky love and support. I was so happy to know that my sister and her family were under such loving arms.
After dinner I was planning on just heading home, but Lacie insisted that I stay the night with her. I told her no I couldn't. I didn't bring any extra clothes, diapers, or food for my family. I really wasn't thinking when I left. Lacie was so sweet and said Amber you are going to stay with me. So we did. Bailey was sooo happy to spend the day with Aunt Lacie! Aunt Lacie took the girls for a rhino ride and showed us the great town of Thatcher. It was so nice just to spend time with Becky and Lacie. It was really a nice get away.
Lacie took the girl cousins out to play so me and Becky could spend time together. Thank you Lacie you are the best.

Bailey loved Lacie's dog. She told me just today that she wanted to see Aunt Lacie and her dog. :) I loved Thatcher. I will never forget my time with Becky and Lacie. I am even more grateful that Becky is doing well. It is always scary to see someone you love so much go though something so scary. I am so blessed and lucky to have such a sweet sister and sister-in-law.

You are right, Lacie is incredible! She is seriously one of the most amazing people I have ever known, and Jon and I miss her and Sam a whole heck of a lot!!!
We miss you guys too and are so happy things are going well for you!
Thanks for taking care of Becky & the family! It is so like you to think of others first.
