Friday night we went to Ballet Under the Stars with Rusty & Carianne. We got there early to have a picnic and wait for the program to start. I have never been to a ballet before, so seeing them live for free was a real treat. Bailey loved the dancers and watched intently on my lap the whole time. Whenever there would be a little break in between the dances Bailey would say, "Watch more dancing mom right." I wish I knew more about dancing and ballet because I am sure I would have appreciated the dancing so much more. The dancers were really beautiful though. Well... the girl dancers were. I really had to get used to the male dancers costumes. I would definitely go to a ballet again. I really want to see the nutcracker now. Maybe Brennon will take me someday :)
I wish we could have taken pictures of the dancers, but they asked no pictures be taken during the performance. bummer.

What a bummer Scottie was traveling. I have been to the nutcracker several times (in Utah at capitol theatre) and I would recommend it... the Russian dancers are amazing!!!
I LOVE the Nutcracker...I was ablt to take Ronnie to his first show when we lived in PHX. Half way through he asked when they were going to start talking! He didn't know it was just dance. I love it and can't wait to take the girls when they get a bit older! That seems like it would be fun going to one outside!
How fun! You guys are really crafty with your outtings!!! Didn't you melt though? I think it is still sooo stinkin' hot!!!
I can't wait until it gets cooler and I can get my bike out and take rides with the kids in the evenings.
