.and I thought I was doing good on food storage.

For Spring break we went up to Snowflake & Heber to get away from the valley. We had so much fun just relaxing and being with family. The only complaint was that Brennon & I got stuffy noses so we couldn't taste all the yummy food our family made for us. We also went and visited my grandpa Brewer. He is the funnest grandpa in the world. He is very passionate about food storage so I wanted to impress him and tell him that Brennon & I have started our food storage and we went to the cannery and canned 6 cans of wheat. He went on and told us of all the work he has been doing raising chickens, planting and harvesting a garden, and storing 23 tons of wheat! Yeah we didn't believe him so he took us to his metal storage shed and he showed us! You would have to see it to believe it! Each bag weighed 13,000 lbs! WOW! I am more determined than ever to do better on our food storage, not that I would ever get 23 tons of wheat but we will do better!

I had no clue that he had that much wheat. I agree - we will never get 23 tons of wheat.
